Jay Henderson is the Founder and President of Flow Shooting Academy, a nationally recognized basketball development organization dedicated to empowering youth on and off the court. Jay combines elite-level playing experience with visionary leadership to create impactful, access-driven programming for underserved communities. A current professional basketball player, Jay has competed at the highest levels of the game, including the NBA G League with organizations affiliated with the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder, as well as professionally overseas in Finland. He played collegiately at the University of Louisville and attended Lake Highland Preparatory School for high school in Orlando, Florida. Under Jay’s leadership, Flow Shooting Academy delivers high-level basketball skill development while integrating education in mental health, nutrition, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. His vision extends beyond athletics—using basketball as a vehicle to develop confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven young people. Jay is deeply committed to community impact, organizing free camps, clinics, and outreach initiatives that remove financial barriers for families and create safe, positive spaces for youth development. His work through HONOW Corp, the nonprofit organization supporting Flow Shooting Academy’s mission, reflects a long-term commitment to equity, sustainability, and transformational youth development. As a leader and board member, Jay brings strategic vision, firsthand athlete experience, and a passion for service. He continues to expand Flow Shooting Academy through innovative partnerships, international programming, and scalable initiatives designed to create lasting community impact.
